What is the work environment like at Aredici?

Do I need an electronics background?
Component Traders come from varied backgrounds. Aredici hires those just out of college and also those with prior sales experience in other fields. It does not matter whether you have a liberal arts background or a technical degree: the qualities we value most are motivation, ambition and capability.
 
I don't know much about electronics, does Aredici have a training program?
You don’t need to know much about electronics.  If you can be convincing and friendly on the telephone, you can sell electronics; however, Aredici does have an in depth training program for new employees.  The training provides information on products, sales techniques, market information, telesales and customer service basics.
 
How much travel is involved in working at Aredici?
Because most component sales and purchasing is conducted via telephone, fax and e-mail, careers with Aredici include very little travel. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to visit trading partners.
